About Marcia "Marcie" Alvey
Marcia — known to nearly everyone as Marcie — has spent more than 35 years helping people find legal representation when they need it most. As a Litigation Paralegal at Perez Law Firm, she specializes in medical malpractice and nursing home cases, taking full ownership of a client's file from the moment it opens through to its resolution. Her day-to-day work includes supporting clients directly, corresponding with opposing counsel and judges' offices, and keeping attorneys on track with document preparation and record review.
Marcie has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since 2008, earned her Certified Paralegal designation in 2017, and holds the Florida Certified Paralegal credential through the Paralegal Association of Florida since 2019 — credentials that reflect decades of hands-on expertise. In the office, she's known for her positive energy and her knack for motivating everyone around her to bring their best work.
What drives Marcie, day in and day out, is her desire to help people who've been wronged. That sense of purpose shows up in the care she brings to every file she touches.
Outside of work, Marcie's favorite moments are spent with her grandchildren. When she gets a little quiet time to herself, you'll usually find her on the beach with a good book.
