About Brittany Hughes
Brittany Hughes has spent more than 13 years as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal helping injured victims and their families recover from life-altering trauma. She focuses on complex litigation and personal injury cases, ranging from auto and premises liability negligence to institutional negligence in the form of sexual abuse, negligent security and wrongful death; working closely with attorneys to advocate for plaintiffs at every stage, including all the way to trial.
Brittany holds a B.A.S. in Paralegal Studies from St. Petersburg College, and she brings something to her work that goes beyond her degree: she is a survivor of a near-death pedestrian accident that left her with medical hardware throughout her body. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of what her clients are fighting through, and it fuels the passion she brings to their cases every day. Her own journey of advocacy and determination is what motivates her to show up for others after they have survived some of the worst days of their lives.
Outside the office, Brittany enjoys an active lifestyle and spends as much time at the beach as she can, soaking up the sun with friends and family. Weekends are especially sweet when she gets to take her dog, Gunner, to the dog beach for some coastal time together.
