About Amanda F. Davy
Amanda Davy grew up in Sarasota, Florida, where she graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Riverview High School. She went on to the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude, and earned her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as Student Director of the Innocence Project.
Amanda spent over eight years as a public defender in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, trying cases before a jury that ranged from misdemeanors to serious felonies. She later served for three years as General Counsel to the Sarasota County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. That mix of trial experience and institutional legal work gives Amanda a well-rounded, holistic approach to representing her clients.
Amanda is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the Federal Middle District of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court.
Amanda's years as a public defender shaped her deep commitment to justice and service — and that same drive is what led her to personal injury law, where she now fights for people who are vulnerable and have been hurt through no fault of their own.
Outside the courtroom, Amanda is President of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) Sarasota Chapter for the 2026–2027 year, a member of the Junior League of Sarasota, and an Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association.
Amanda is the proud mother of two daughters. Her husband is a small business owner, and the family loves to travel together whenever they get the chance.
